Request for adding Pyth Entropy to Ronin mainnet

Hello,

I believe it would be a great addition for pyth entropy on the Ronin mainnet chain. I am a developer that is fairly active on the ronin chain, as well as the community. And I notice that the gaming community there is very active, with many apps utilizing randomness within their onchain creations.

The issue is, with using standard oracles for VRF, the waiting times can ruin the experience immersion. I believe the entropy product fixes this and thus would be a valuable addition.

I realize I can seperate the layers of applications and use a different chain for entropy I then feed into a ronin smart contract, but a native integration is something I would definitely use myself, and I am sure others would too.

Thank you for considering in advance.

Hey!

Thanks a lot for the request. Technically it would definitely be doable.

Thing to consider is whether it’s+EV for the service provider to maintain infrastructure to fulfill Entropy requests.

How much requests would you be doing / day (or month)?

Anyone else you’d be able to connect us with to estimate total demand?

Meanwhile I’ll see with the Ronin Foundation if this is of interest to support more broadly.

(And agree with you! Pyth Entropy is indeed much faster than traditional VRF)
