Gm i’m Rahul Shanmugam here. I built Whiphash for EthOnline 2025.
Pyth Entropy is the core of my project here.
Pyth Entropy provides verifiable on-chain randomness that guarantees every password starts from a provably fair, tamper-proof source and adds unbiased randomness . It ensures no single party or device controls the randomness, strengthening trust and security in password generation(making it more unbiased).
My project is kinda towards private tool/extension which is used individually by setting put their project locally, because my architecture contains Nillion Secret Vault that has to be stored on.
please note!
I have deployed this a website, so that pyth team can verify for pyth randomness.
i’m letting you know that the saved passwords in web will be seen by anyone now because i have pasted my secretvault credentials for deployment (to test randomness in your side). I deployed only for pyth team for generating randomness.
heres the demo link - https://whiphash.vercel.app/
To experience this project to the fullest, please setup the project locally and enjoy the privacy (now only user generates, handles and have access to password –no one has now when its running into your machine).
thank you for reading this out!
want to scale this as good open source tool next!
pay for randomness, pay for the key, take your responsiblity and trust decentralization.
love from whiphash!
