Following the announcement that Mountain Protocol has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Anchorage Digital, it has been confirmed that USDM and other Mountain-issued assets will be deprecated and delisted as part of the acquisition process.
The offboarding of USDM is scheduled to occur on June 12, 2025, which is one month after the official announcement. In coordination with this timeline, the Pyth Network will sunset the USDM and wUSDM price feeds on June 11, 2025. Do note that the date might move forward or back in time based on demand.
Protocols and integrators utilizing these feeds should take immediate steps to manage the deprecation. This includes:
- Preparing for USDM and wUSDM to be fully removed from the ecosystem
- Migrating to alternative stablecoins or feeds as appropriate
- Updating front- and back-end systems that rely on these feeds
