After reviewing the Pyth Price Feeds onchain usage, their actual underlying tokens activity (i.e. volumes), and exceptional news (token migration or else) it has been decided to sunset a few feeds.
All below feeds are scheduled to be sunset on Wednesday 11th, June, 2025.If you’re using or planning to use these feeds in any capacity, please let us know directly and we’ll be able to reassess the need for their sunset.
- Crypto.ALPACA/USD ; Alpaca Finance has wind-down its operations (announcement)
- Crypto.SFRAX/FRAX.RR ; Following the various token migration operated by Frax Finance, the last original feed will be sunset. Please note that the new version already has a live price feed: SFRXUSD/FRXUSD.
- Crypto.SMR/USD ; no more Pyth usage on Shimmer, and the trading volumes of SMR have drastically decreased
- Crypto.USDM/USD ; previously announced on the forum. As a reminder, Anchorage Digital acquired Mountain Protocol and announced the sunsetting of the USDM product shortly
- Crypto.WUSDM/USDM.RR ; previously announced on the forum. As a reminder, Anchorage Digital acquired Mountain Protocol and announced the sunsetting of the USDM product shortly
