Hi Pyth team,
I’m a fellow in the Gauntlet AI fellowship working on Meridian, a partner project using Pyth for settlement of MAG7 binary outcome markets on Solana devnet.
I’m running into the same entitlement issue as this accepted request from a peer challenger:
My Pyth account email is:
batista.sjsu@gmail.com
Contact email:
andre.batista@challenger.gauntletai.com
I verified that my API key is valid and works for crypto feeds, but not for the U.S. equity feed I tested.
AAPL test:
curl -i \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $PYTH_API_KEY" \
"https://hermes.pyth.network/v2/updates/price/latest?parsed=true&ids[]=49f6b65cb1de6b10eaf75e7c03ca029c306d0357e91b5311b175084a5ad55688"
Result at Tue, 06 Oct 2026 18:22:09 GMT:
HTTP/2 403
Not entitled: feed 49f6b65cb1de6b10eaf75e7c03ca029c306d0357e91b5311b175084a5ad55688 (no grant accepts this feed (asset type 'equity', instrument type 'spot', exchange 1))
Using the same API key, BTC/USD succeeds:
curl -i \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $PYTH_API_KEY" \
"https://hermes.pyth.network/v2/updates/price/latest?parsed=true&ids[]=e62df6c8b4a85fe1a67db44dc12de5db330f7ac66b72dc658afedf0f4a415b43"
Result at Tue, 06 Oct 2026 18:23:34 GMT:
HTTP/2 200
So this appears to be specifically an equity entitlement issue rather than an API authentication issue.
For Meridian I need temporary access to the MAG7 equity feeds:
- AAPL
- MSFT
- GOOGL
- AMZN
- NVDA
- META
- TSLA
The project is being built on Solana devnet and uses Pyth prices for on-chain settlement of daily binary stock outcome markets at the U.S. regular-session close.
Would it be possible to temporarily enable the required U.S. equity permissions on my trial account for the duration of the fellowship challenge?
Thanks,
Andre Batista
